There was a weird odor at the end of the hall and we had to request to change our shower curtain because it was making the whole room smell. It was no trouble getting the front desk to bring a fresh shower curtain. It's within walking distance to dining and shopping and it is easy to get to the airport. The pool seemed fine, but it makes the building extra humid.
Jo Ann the GM, Amanda w/ the front desk, and the other hotel staff helped me set up a surprise for my significant others Birthday as he is working in Minot right now and is staying at their motel. They went above and beyond to help me coordinate the delivery of a birthday cake to the hotel as a surprise, as he is unable to be home on such a special day. Regarding the stay; my s/o noted Motel 6 cleans their rooms and provides fresh towels daily and they have a friendly staff. We both have had a good experience with this motel and would recommend!
We had a pleasant stay at Motel 6 in Minot. The pool and spa were great and made our stay very relaxing. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient — close to major shopping centers and restaurants. Our room was clean, with comfy beds and a spotless bathroom. Prices are fair for what you get. The only thing missing was breakfast, but overall, it’s a great place for a comfortable and affordable stay!
Everything was great, rooms were clean, pool area was clean hot tub was nice and hot good stay every time I have come here!
The room was non-smoking but had smell that someone had smoked at one time. All hotels need to do better at this but hallway noise can be heard through the door as well as hearing when someone is running shower/bath. The guy at desk was friendly. My phone didn't work and I was confused by how the remotes worked for the TV. In the end, i had a bed to sleep in and was appropriate temp in my room. The price was right for meeting that need
For the price of the rooms I don’t know why you would stay anywhere else! We came down for a hockey tournament and this was a great place for our team to stay at. The pool is open until 10:30 at night, Applebees is steps away and a quick walk to the mall. The hotel is older and starting to show it’s age but the rooms are clean and comfy beds. The only real down side is that they don’t have a breakfast but again for the price it was fine that we had to stop at McDonalds on the way to the rink.
The best Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly and quick to help with anything. The pool and hot tub area is very nice. The only reason that I gave the room of 4 star was because the bathrooms do need a little updating and the doors are very heavy and slam everytime somebody leaves or enters the room , so that is kind of disturbing for the other guests.
My husband stayed here for 2 nights. The room was nice and even had a recliner in the room.,He raved about the staff. It was record cold temperatures and my husband’s diesel truck wouldn’t start. Joann and Amanda were very helpful. They provided him with a battery charger, and he was able to plug in his truck. They went above and beyond, he travels all over the U.S and Canada and he has run into vehicle issues in the past and no other hotel has ever stepped up to help a guest like this.
